Origin of Vigyan se Vikshit Ganv Mission
Dr. Meena, along with a dedicated group of hardworking rural youth founded Vigyan Se Vikshit Ganv with the guiding
principles of “Awareness and Scientific Curiosity” and “Giving Back to Science.” This initiative aims to empower rural communities through science-driven education and innovation.
As part of this mission, विज्ञान से विकसित गाँव Members organizes science camps, delivers lectures in schools, skill centers, and promotes scientific awareness and innovative problem-solving in marginalized rural areas. His efforts have successfully instilled a solution-oriented mindset in rural societies across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.

Dr. Meena’s Journey
Born in a farmer’s family in the small rural town of Shivala, Dr. Meena pursued a Doctorate in Science(parasitology) from Central University and completed his Integrated Master’s from NISER, Institution of Department of atomic Energy Govt of India—all through government-funded scholarships such as DST-INSPIRE, CSIR, UGC, and DST-STI Fellowships. His deep-rooted experience in both academia and administration naturally align with the mission of Vigyan Se Vikshit Ganv Sanstha.
As its founder and active member, Dr. Meena brings together scientific expertise, policy insight, and grassroots engagement to drive rural transformation through science and innovation. His achievements include:
- Winner of the International India-USA Business Plan Competition at Oakland University, Michigan, representing India at the G-20 event.
- Recipient of the prestigious Golden Jubilee Award by the Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences.
- Recipient of the prestigious oral presentation Award by the zoological society of India.
- Nominated to the Student Council of Central University, Lucknow, and an active participant in scientific outreach programs.
- Engaged in interactive sessions with Nobel Prize winners during Science Conclaves at IIIT Allahabad (2008 & 2013).
With over 18 years of experience in STEM education (supported by DST, CSIR, UGC, and DST-STI programs), Dr. Meena has consistently contributed to education, healthcare, and sustainable development in rural India.
